Certbot теперь полностью поддерживается в RHEL/CentOS 8. Просто беги

wget https://dl.eff.org/certbot-auto
chmod +x certbot-auto

Для апача

./certbot-auto --apache

Для nginx

./certbot-auto --nginx

Он помог мне просто простой командой, установив:

$ sudo dnf install python3-virtualenv
