Проблемы с установкой puppet-dashboard
Я использую Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (32bit, Server), марионетка 2.7.17, ruby 1.8.7.352 rubygems 1.8.15. и Apache 2.2.22.

Когда я впервые попытался запустить сервис puppet-dashboard, он пожаловался, что не может найти rake ~> 1.1.0, поэтому я установил его.

стойка четко установлена. После прочтения этого вопроса я даже удалил стойку 1.4.1, оставив только 1.1.0, но получил ту же ошибку.

Puppet-dashboard сказал, что не использует версию rubygems в 10.04 LTS, но не сказал, что упакованная версия в 12.04 LTS также не будет работать.
После одного предложения из списка рассылки я запустил скрипт, указанный в руководстве puppet-dashboard, и снизил версию моего гема до 1.3.7.
Я также установил камень rdoc.
Между этими двумя изменениями была решена проблема.
На новой установке Ubuntu 12.04 Server AMD64 я выполнил следующие две команды, чтобы получить db:migrate работать:
sudo gem install rack --version=1.1.0
sudo gem install rack --version=1.1.2
Кроме этого изменения, я точно следовал документации по установке, и она работала. Я понятия не имею, требуются ли оба из них, но один только немного изменяет сообщение об ошибке.:-)
